Bo Brinkman

Bo Brinkman is Technical Director of the Augmented Reality Center, Associate Professor and Graduate Director of Computer Science and Software Engineering, and Affiliate Faculty of Interactive Media Studies

Bo Brinkman is a scholar and educator in augmented reality, computer ethics, and algorithms. He received a PhD in Computer Science from Princeton University, and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Washington. He has received awards for work in all three of his research fields, including a best poster award at the International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality, a best young faculty paper award from the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics, and a best paper award from the IEEE-CS conference on Foundations of Computer Science. In addition to courses in AR, algorithms, and ethics he sometimes teaches a studio course on Atari 2600 platform studies and game development.
